Graduate Dormitory Application for the Summer Accommodation 2020
Dear students, information regarding the “Graduate Dormitory Application for the Summer Accommodation 2020” program is provided below:
I. Application Eligibility: Non-dormitory residents, whose parents and themselves have their household registered outside of Taipei City, New Taipei City and Keelung City for at least two years. Applicants must be a current masters/graduate student (in-service students may not apply), including 2020 academic year new students (according to your acceptance letter’s student ID), and reserved students who wish to return to school. ※Dorms available for application: Downtown Campus Dorms (2nd Men’s Dorm, 4th Men’s Dorm, 4th Women’s Dorm, 6th Women’s Dorm), Main Campus Dorms (6th Men’s Dorm, 8th Men’s Dorm, 1st Graduate Men’s Dorm, 3rd Graduate Men’s Dorm, 1st Graduate Women’s Dorm, 3rd Graduate Women’s Dorm).
II. Application Timeline: 9:00 AM on June 8th (Mon.) 2020 to 5:00 PM on June 17th (Wed.) 2020; late admissions will not be accepted.
III. Application Methods: All students must apply through the website https://housing.ntu.edu.tw/graduate.summer, students may simultaneously apply for BOT dorms. Should students be allocated to both BOT and on-campus dorms, they must choose one; those who decide to apply for BOT should do so from June 10th to July 10th at http://ntudorm.prince.com.tw. ※New students, reserved students, and returning students may encounter they are unable to apply using the website. If such an event should occur, please send an email to the person in charge and attach the following: acceptance letter or reservation letter or suspension letter, and household registry that includes yourself and both parents.
IV. Results Announcement: Results will be announced at https://housing.ntu.edu.tw/graduate.summer at 2:00 PM on June 19th, 2020. Students should login to the system and check their results. The allocation priority is listed below: • Students with disabilities (disabilities should be verified) • Students with low or low-middle income households (requires verification) • Outlying island students or aboriginal students (household registry should be verified, student and both parents should have their household registered on outlying island) • Foreign students and overseas Chinese students in their first semester of study • Students who have their household registered outside of Taipei City, New Taipei City, Keelung City, and Taoyuan City for at least two years (including parents). Students in Taoyuan City with special needs will also be considered. • Students who have their household registered in Taoyuan City for at least two years (including parents) • Students with proof of special needs (including Taipei City, New Taipei City, and Keelung City)
V. Check-in Date: Students may check-in starting July 5th, 2020. Students may reside until August 29th, 2020. In order to accommodate the newer students for the new semester, we require graduates and residents who have lived out their period to check out before August 22nd. The 8th week of summer accommodation will also be refunded. Other students may continue to reside.
VI. Check-in Required Forms: Please make sure to bring your payment receipt, complete household registry (including parents and self), student ID or acceptance letter, to the office of your dorm’s counselor during the aforementioned check-in time. If discovered your eligibility is false when verifying your forms, then your accommodation will be cancelled. ※Students who draw a dorm must confirm if they are to reside within a week. After confirmation, they must print out a bill and complete payment. Students on the waiting list can check the progress at any time on the website.

Other: w For more information regarding dorm fees please refer to the Student Housing Service Division Website http://140.112.36.173/CID-3 w Students who wish to apply for the Fall 2020 graduate dormitories please do so during July 15th to July 25th online. Students who draw a dorm or are put on the waiting list for Fall 2020 may move in on August 30th if the previous resident has moved out.
